The Iranian Journal of Veterinary Medicine (Iran J Vet Med) is an international open access peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality original articles, reviews, case reports, short communication and letter to editor in veterinary sciences and related disciplines. This journal is published four times a year in English by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran, Iran. It covers all subjects related to veterinary sciences in general, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Virology, Immunology, Molecular biology, Pathology, Public health, Parasitology, Infectious diseases, Clinical sciences, Surgery, Epidemiology, Endocrinology, Nutrition, Welfare, Evolution, alternative Veterinary Medicine and other biomedical fields. Papers with studies on all species of animals are considered and a priority publication scheme exists for papers of with high merit and topicality. Open Access Statement All articles published in Iranian Journal of Veterinary Medicine are free for everyone to read and download without charging any kind of fee. Copyright Upon acceptance of an article, authors will be asked to complete a 'Journal Publishing Agreement'. Acceptance of the agreement will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information. An e-mail will be sent to the corresponding author confirming receipt of the manuscript together with a 'Journal Publishing Agreement'. Subscribers may reproduce tables of contents or prepare lists of articles including abstracts for internal circulation within their institutions.
