Aim and scope
The aims of the Iranian Journal of Veterinary Medicine (Iran J Vet Med) is to improve and expand knowledge in all veterinary fields. Research papers and reports on a wide range of veterinary topics are published in the journal after being evaluated by reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the editorial content of the journal—including peer-reviewed manuscripts—and the timing of its publication.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Virology, Immunology, Molecular biology, Pathology, Public health, Parasitology, Infectious diseases, Clinical sciences, Surgery, Epidemiology, Endocrinology, Nutrition, Welfare, Evolution, Alternative Veterinary Medicine.
Papers on all species of animals are considered, and a priority publication scheme exists for papers with outstanding merit and topicality.
